Campo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Campo belongs to the district Valongo in the district of Porto . The community had an area of 11 km² and 9,178 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Campo and Sobrado were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Campo e Sobrado . Campo is the seat of this newly formed community.
