Can Açıkgöz

Can Açıkgöz (* 2000 ) is a German-Turkish audio book speaker . Açıkgöz lives in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg .

Career

At the age of twelve he won the Hamburg-Süd district decision of the German book trade's reading competition for sixth graders.

A few months later he read the Kirsten Boie cemetery thriller The Boy Who Could Read Minds on 4 CDs as an audio book for Jumbo Neue Medien & Verlag .

Açıkgöz received positive reviews in various media for his reading. According to the literary magazine Bücher , Açıkgöz reads “incredibly moody, but also finds the right tone with the subtle passages”. The newspaper Die Welt emphasizes his “vocal diversity”. The reading made it onto the hr2 audio book best list in September 2012 , where Açıkgöz's reading was praised as “impressive”.
