The Cape Tulenij ( English ; Russian Мыс Тюлений Mys Tjuleni , German 'Robbenkap' ) is a cape on the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the area of the Bunger Oasis .
Scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition mapped and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this name into English in 1989. With the Russian name there is a risk of confusion with the Tyuleniy Point .
