Kōta Miyamoto ( Japanese 宮本 航 汰 , Miyamoto Kōta ; born June 19, 1996 in Shizuoka , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kōta Miyamoto learned to play football in the youth team of Shimizu S-Pulse . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2015. The club from Shimizu played in the first division, the J1 League . In 2015 he played four times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. From 2016 to 2017 he was loaned to the second division club V-Varen Nagasaki in Nagasaki . With Nagasaki he was runner-up in the J2 League in 2017 and rose to the first division. After promotion, he also switched to FC Gifu in Gifu on loan for the 2018 and 2019 seasons . At the end of 2019, the club occupied 22nd place in the table and had to start the way to the third division. In 2020 he returned to Shimizu after the loan.
