The Caprivi College of Education (CCE) was one of four teacher training colleges in Namibia and offered three-year diploma courses in basic vocational education for primary school and high school teachers : the Basic Education Teacher Diploma (BETD).
The university was founded in 1993 and was based in Katima Mulilo , the capital of the Zambezi region (formerly Caprivi ). It maintained classrooms, a university library, a computer and arts center, and student dormitories.
Effective April 1, 2010, the college was incorporated into the Faculty of Education at the University of Namibia .
