content
After his return, Captain Norad - much to the chagrin of his crew - was given back command of the USS HIGHLANDER. He is supposed to represent the united planets on the birthday of an important diplomat, but has a medium chaos over the meal and at the end invites himself to a ceremony, the deeper meaning of which - as he has to discover through personal experience - is to suffer pain. On the way back to earth, the conflict between two warring parties still has to be resolved, which he succeeds.
