Carina Jonsson

Carina Jonsson (born July 17, 1979 ) is a Swedish table tennis player . She was one of Sweden's best players in the 1990s and 2000s and participated in six world championships and at least two European championships.

Career

Left-hander Carina Jonsson won the Swedish national championship twice in singles. From 2003 to 2010 she took part in six world championships without coming close to medal ranks.

In 2000 she and her twin sister Susanne moved from the Swedish club Örans SK to Germany for FT Preetz in the 2nd Bundesliga . She stayed here for a year, then returned to Helsingborg (Sweden) and joined TSB Flensburg in 2002 . Other club stations were ASKÖ Linz Froschberg (Austria, 2004–2007), ADC Ponta do Pargo (Portugal, 2007–2010) and from 2010 TuS Bad Driburg .
