Susanne Jonsson

Susanne Jonsson (born July 17, 1979 ) is a Swedish table tennis player . She was one of Sweden's best players in the 1990s and 2000s and took part in three world championships.

Career

The left-hander Susanne Jonsson achieved her first international successes at the European Youth Championships. Here she reached the final in a mixed with Henrik Nyqvist in 1994 and in doubles with Veronica Augustsson in 1997. In 2001, 2003 and 2004 she took part in the world championships without coming close to medal ranks.

In 2000 she moved with her twin sister Carina from the Swedish club Örans SK to Germany for FT Preetz in the 2nd Bundesliga . Here she stayed for a year, then she joined MTV Tostedt . In the 2003/04 season she played for TSV Kirchrode before returning to Sweden in 2004.
