Carina Nopp

Carina Nopp (born May 13, 1989 in Linz ) is an Austrian musical performer .

Life

Nopp started taking singing and dancing lessons early on. From 2003 to 2008 she completed a five-year advanced training course at the Musical Theater Academy in Puchenau . She then studied at the Musical Academy Graz from 2008 , where she completed her studies in musicals at the end of June 2011 with the diploma of the joint examination committee in Vienna.

Her solo roles, partly during her training, include Rosie and Donna in Mamma Mia! , Mama Morton and Velma Kelly in Chicago and Mungojerrie and Bombalurina in Cats , which she sang in performances at the Orpheum in Graz . She also worked in Mozart! (Role: Mother Weber; in a tour production), Evita (at the Musicalfestwochen Bad Leonfelden), The Wiz - The magic land (in the Stadttheater Wels), as well as in Annie , Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair . She was also engaged for a tour production of the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame through Austria and Luxembourg .

In the summer of 2015 she sang in the Mackie Messer ensemble . A Salzburg Threepenny Opera , an experimental version of Brecht / Weill's Die Dreigroschenoper , performed at the Salzburg Festival in the Felsenreitschule .

She was also engaged for a number of musical highlight shows, Christmas and cruise entertainment programs, for example several times on Mein Schiff 2 . Since 2014 she has been a soloist in the Austria-wide tour production Genusskonzerte with performances at musical galas and in the context of dinner & musical evenings; In 2017, she performed at the Ladykillers killer dinner .
