Caritas leader

Caritas Führer , b. Böttrich (born March 25, 1957 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a German writer.

Life

Caritas Führer comes from a rectory . Christfried Böttrich is her younger brother. After the ten-class polytechnic high school , as a pastor's daughter and not a member of the FDJ, she was denied access to the extended high school and thus access to the Abitur . She processed her school experiences in the 1998 short story Die Mondagsangst . From 1973 she learned the profession of porcelain designer in the porcelain factory in Meissen and worked there until 1980.

From 1981 to 1984 she completed a distance learning course at the Johannes R. Becher Literature Institute in Leipzig . Then she worked until 2000 as a lecturer at the Malche Theological College in Bad Freienwalde (Oder) . Since 1998 she has been a freelance author, seminar leader and speaker.

She is married to the Evangelical Lutheran theologian Michael Führer and has three children. She lives in Dresden.
