Carl-Henri Morisset (* 1993 in Seine-et-Marne ) is a French jazz musician ( piano , composition ).

Morisset began playing the piano at the age of eight. Until 2011 he completed a musical training at the Conservatory in Val Maubuée . In the following year he was accepted at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris , where he received his bachelor's degree in 2014 ; he studied with Riccardo Del Fra , Pierre de Bethmann , Hervé Sellin , Glenn Ferris and Dré Pallemaerts .

Since 2014 Morisset has been a member of Riccardo Del Fra's quintet, with whom he has performed various programs in Europe, as well as Archie Shepp's quartet and his Attica Blues Big Band . Since 2015 he has also been part of the collaborative quartet H! involved with Bastien Weeger, Elie Martin-Charrière and Etienne Renard. He has also worked with Ricky Ford , Steve McCraven , Reggie Washington , Daryl Hall , Daniel Humair , Eddie Gomez , Larry Grenadier , Eddie Henderson and Bobby Few . He can also be heard on albums by Riccardo Del Fra, Thomas Bramerie and Pierrick Pedron .
