Carl Christoph Frauenlob

Carl Christoph Frauenlob (born September 15, 1708 in Dresden , † July 11, 1781 in Ulm ) was a piece, red and bell caster in Ulm.

Life

His father, Johan Christoph Frauenlob, was a soldier in the company of Captain von Richard. Carl Christoph Frauenlob attended grammar school in Dresden, began a six-year apprenticeship with Johannes Goed in 1724 and wandered for 14 years via Breslau, Graz, Klagenfurt, Innsbruck, Munich, Regensburg, Passau, Linz and Augsburg, until he came to Ulm to Gottlieb Korn in 1744 († 1763) came.

On April 6, 1745, he acquired citizenship in Ulm and on April 20, he married the widow of David Wilhelm Korn. In the same year he made an association with his father, Gottlieb Korn. In 1756 his son Thomas Frauenlob was born.

As part of joint work, three bells in Urspring from 1746, two in St. Laurentius Allmendingen (Kleindorfer Church) and one in Nerenstetten from 1752 have been preserved; Two were sold in Asselfingen from 1752 as well as one each in Ettlenschieß and Sinabronn from 1759 and in Niederstotzingen from 1762. In 1753 they supplied the water pipe for the fountain for the castle there.
