Ettlenschieß is a district of the municipality of Lonsee in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The village is two kilometers north of Lonsee.
history
Ettlenschieß was first mentioned in a document in 1433. The place belonged to the Albeck lordship and was sold to Ulm by the Counts of Werdenberg in 1385 . From 1563 to 1774 there was an ulm office in Ettlenschieß, which was then united with Lonsee. Properties in Ettlenschieß were part of the founding equipment of Wettenhausen Monastery , which was built at the end of the 11th century . These came to the Wengen Monastery in Ulm in 1393 .
In 1803 Ettlenschieß came to Bavaria and in 1810 through the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg to the Kingdom of Württemberg .
Ettlenschieß was incorporated into Lonsee on April 1, 1972.

Attractions
- Evangelical parish church, Gothic building from the 14th and 15th centuries with an extension from 1912. Choir painted in 1882 by Max Bach .
