Gottlieb Korn

Gottlieb Korn (born April 19, 1692 in Leipzig ; † 1763 ) was a German bell founder .

His father was the red and bell founder Johann Nikolaus Korn.

In 1712 he came to Ulm , where he acquired citizenship on October 30, 1716 and married a daughter of the piece and bell founder Theodosius Ernst on November 17, 1716 . Around 1718/20 he was accepted into his father-in-law's foundry. In 1724/25 he worked in Königsbronn . In 1726 he took over his father-in-law's foundry.

After his son, David Wilhelm Korn, died early and his widow married Carl Christoph Frauenlob in 1745 , he made an association with him.
