Carl Fischer (lithographer)

Carl Fischer (also: Karl Fischer ; * 1809 ; † 1874 ) was a German lithographer , painter and portrait painter .

A number of genealogical data are known about Fischer , including that of his wife Louise Couard (1819–1903), daughter of the preacher at the St. Georgenkirche in Berlin , Christian Ludwig Couard (1793–1865).

Fischer worked in Berlin from 1830 to 1860 , including for the Royal Lithographic Institute . During his time in Berlin, between 1835 and 1844, he exhibited variously at the Royal Prussian Academy of Arts and Mechanical Sciences .
