Carl Friedrich Parcus

Carl Friedrich Parcus (born January 4, 1815 in Mainz , † September 23, 1881 in Darmstadt ) was a district administrator in Hesse.

He was the son of the state procurator and deputy Johann Jakob Parcus (1790-1854) and his wife Louise Katharina Adelaide nee Köler (1793-1875). Parcus was a Protestant denomination.

Parcus studied law at the University of Giessen and became a government registrar after graduating. In 1845 he became district secretary in Worms, in 1848 government secretary in Mainz and in 1850 government secretary in Worms. In 1852 he was appointed acting district councilor in the Worms district . In 1854 he became a district councilor in the Bingen district . When he retired in 1881, he held the title of Grand Ducal Hessian Secret Government Council .
