Carl Graf

Heinrich Elias Christian Carl Graf (born November 14, 1820 in Nieder-Waroldern , † January 28, 1897 in Arolsen ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Graf was the son of the economist and judge Johann Heinrich Graf and his wife Marie Wilhelmine nee Esau. He married Johanne Rosine Adolphine Armbrecht on October 30, 1849 in Seesen / Harz. From 1842 he studied law at the University of Heidelberg and passed the exam there in 1848. From 1848 to 1849 he was an assistant judge in Rhoden and a lawyer in Korbach. In 1861 he became government secretary in Arolsen. In 1865 he became 3rd district judge and in 1869 District Judge I at the Arolsen District Court . In 1879 he became a district judge and senior magistrate. In 1896 he retired.

From 1884 to 1887 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of the Twiste district .
