Carl Hagemann (politician)

Christian Ludwig Carl Hagemann (born January 8, 1821 in Netze ; † August 21, 1878 in Arolsen ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Hagemann was the son of the landlord and bailiff Carl Hagemann and his wife Sophie Elisabeth nee Schultze. His first marriage was Emma Mogk on September 29, 1850 in Sachsenhausen . On October 18, 1859, he married Clara Giesecken for the second time in Korbach.

Hagemann studied law and became a lawyer in Sachsenhausen in 1844 and in Wildungen in 1850. In 1854 he became district secretary in Korbach and in 1866 public prosecutor in Arolsen. From October 27, 1862 to June 24, 1865, he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont for the constituency of Eisenberg . From 1869 to 1878 he was again a member (only for the Eder district ). 1876–1878 he was president of the state parliament.
