Carl Heinrich August von Schönfels

Carl Heinrich August von Schönfels (born December 15, 1753 in Rodau im Vogtland ; † February 10, 1833 in Reuth ) enrolled at the University of Leipzig in June 1776. On August 1, 1789, he was appointed Supernumerar Governor of the Vogtland District . From 1800 until his death he was an honorary member of the Leipzig lodge " Minerva to the three palms ". He was the owner of six manors in the Vogtland. His son Friedrich Ernst von Schönfels was President of the First Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament .
