Carl Honsell

Carl Honsell (born February 3, 1805 in Konstanz , † April 18, 1876 ) was a German administrative officer and judge.

Life

Carl Honsell studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1824 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1825 he joined the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg . In 1828 he became a legal intern and in 1836 court secretary in Mannheim . In 1842 he was Assessor Office at the District Office of Konstanz , where he from 1843 to 1844 as a bailiff board. He then became a court judge and court judge at the court in Constance . Most recently he lived as a court judge a. D. in Reichenau .

Max Honsell , his third son, completed the Tulla Rhine straightening as a hydraulic engineer and was last Minister of Finance in Baden.

One granddaughter (from the first son, Adolf) is the Reichenau writer Lilly Braumann-Honsell .
