Carl Kaiser (born April 4, 1949 in Vaduz ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( FBP ).

biography

Kaiser was born in Vaduz in 1949 as the son of the farmer Josef Kaiser and his wife Hilda (née Öhri) and has six siblings. The member of parliament and community leader Karl Kaiser is his grandfather. Kaiser attended secondary school in Eschen . He then completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic. This was followed by commercial training at the Buchs evening trading school in the canton of St. Gallen .

From 1970 to 1975 Kaiser worked in various positions at Liechtenstein companies and in the state administration. From 1975 to 2000 he worked as a claims expert at the insurance company Swiss Mobiliar . Since 2000 he has been general agent for Liechtenstein / Werdenberg of Generali Insurance .

In 1989 Kaiser was elected member of the State Parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Progressive Citizens' Party . In the subsequent election in February 1993 , he was re-elected. As a member of the state parliament, he was a member of the business audit commission and head of the Liechtenstein delegation for the parliamentary committee of the EFTA countries.

From 1993 to 2001 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Liechtenstein Gas Supply . During this time he also acted as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1997 to 2001.

Kaiser is a citizen of the community of Schellenberg . He is married and has a son.
