List of members of the Liechtenstein Parliament (Feb 1993)

This list shows the members of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein , which emerged from the elections on February 7, 1993. This election was the first in 1993. Only a few weeks after this election, the incumbent Prime Minister Markus Büchel was asked by his party, the Progressive Citizens' Party, to resign immediately because he had supported the opposition candidate for an administrative post . Although Büchel had defended himself with the argument that as head of government he did not only have to represent his party, he was raised from office. The state parliament was dissolved and new elections were scheduled in October of the same year.
Of the 13,999 eligible voters, 12,255 people took part in the election (87.5%). Of these, 12,092 votes were valid. The votes and mandates were distributed in the two constituencies - Oberland and Unterland - as follows:
