List of members of the Liechtenstein Parliament (1936)
This list shows the members of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein , which emerged from the municipal elections of February 9, 1936 and the nationwide elections of February 16, 1936. The 1932 franchise reform introduced two rounds of voting. In one ballot, a candidate was elected from each municipality with more than 300 inhabitants, the remaining five were determined in nationwide elections. The election was based on the requirement that the ratio of candidates from the Oberland and the Unterland must be 60:40. Due to another change in the electoral law, the electoral term ended in 1939.
In this election, the Patriotic Union (VU) stood for the first time, which had only recently been formed from the two parties Christian-Social People's Party and Liechtenstein Homeland Service .
On June 14, 1936, a replacement election took place for Josef Beck (VU), who had died on May 17, 1936 . Wendelin Beck (VU) won the election with 190 votes to 98 against Josef Bühler.
