List of members of the Liechtenstein Parliament (Jan 1926)
This list shows the members of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein , which emerged from the Landtag elections of January 10th and 24th, 1926. This electoral period only lasted until April 1926, as the Christian Social People's Party (VP) and the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP) could not agree on a joint governing council after the election.
To be elected to the state parliament, you needed an absolute majority of all votes cast, with each voter having as many votes as there were candidates to be elected. If several candidates achieved an absolute majority of the votes, those with the most votes were drawn. Seven MPs were elected in the Oberland constituency and five in the Unterland constituency. Since not all candidates achieved an absolute majority, runoff elections were held on January 24, 1926 to determine the missing MPs.
List of members
In Oberland 1322 votes were counted, which means that a candidate needed at least 622 votes to enter the state parliament. In the Unterland, 716 votes were cast, which means that 359 votes were enough.
