List of members of the Liechtenstein Parliament (1922)
This list shows the members of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein that emerged from the Landtag elections of February 5 and 16, 1922. For the first time after the constitutional amendment in 1921, all fifteen members of the state parliament were directly elected by the people and no longer partially appointed by the prince as before. In addition, the right to vote and stand as a candidate was reduced from 24 to 21 years.
In this election, nominations were submitted by only two parties. These were the Christian Social People's Party (VP) and the Progressive Citizens' Party in Liechtenstein (FBP).
To be elected to the state parliament, you needed an absolute majority of all votes cast, with each voter having as many votes as there were candidates to be elected. If several candidates achieved an absolute majority of the votes, those with the most votes were drawn. Seven MPs were elected in the Oberland constituency and five in the Unterland constituency. Since not all candidates achieved an absolute majority, runoff elections were held on February 16, 1922 to determine the missing MPs.
List of members
In Oberland, 1058 votes were counted, which means that a candidate needed at least 530 votes to enter the state parliament. In the Unterland, 609 votes were cast, which means that 305 votes were enough.
