claim

The aim here was above all to make the music "horizontally" tangible, whereby horizontal means above all that it can be enjoyed outside, free of charge and in the middle of the city lying down. The genesis of this type of event was described by the journalist Odile de Plas: “'Dozing' music lover is a special category of people that emerged in the mid-1990s. Experienced, maintaining his habits, he wears more to hide the consequences of the last night of partying than bravely his sunglasses because of the glaring sunlight and otherwise moves completely like a vacationer. His gaze wanders far over the scenery presented to him until he has finally found the right place for the rest of the day. Planned a few corridors to the bar, one arm in the air to show the late, still sleepy friends the way. Otherwise he sits there more or less reverently and listens to the music being played to him. He often invites his 'philistine friends', namely those with children, with sweeping gestures to join him and his own. They are no longer able to 'storm' another disco / festival every weekend. These lethargic afternoons allow him, too, to indulge in the music that he has often had to do without for too long under the guise of a family outing. Over a period of ten years, this 'siesta' has blossomed into an authority when it comes to enjoying electronic music. "
