Vincent Moon , real name Mathieu Saura (born August 25, 1979 in Paris ) is a French director of music videos and documentaries .

Moon specializes mainly in music videos and got his first commissioned work as a director in 1991 from The Spinto Band . Moon then made films for REM , Tom Jones , Bloc Party , Seasick Steve , Fleet Foxes , The Wombats , dEUS , An Pierle , Bon Iver , Black Lips , Yeasayer , Liars , Arcade Fire , Efterklang , Mogwai , O'Death , The Ex , De Kift , Stephen Malkmus , Scout Niblett , Caribou , Vic Chesnutt , Architecture in Helsinki , The National , The Young Gods , The Shins , Andrew Bird , The Kooks , Okkervil River , Xiu Xiu , Sufjan Stevens and Beirut . In 2006, Moon began The Take-Away Shows , a series of music videos.

In 2008 he made a documentary about the investment by Coca-Cola in Africa , Changes in Rhythm .
