Lorenz Heeb

Lorenz Heeb (born December 3, 1949 in Schaan ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( VU ).

biography

Heeb grew up with two siblings. He attended teacher seminars in Sargans and Rorschach in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen , where he trained as a high school teacher. He then worked as a primary and then high school teacher in Vaduz .

From 1987 to 1995 he was a member of the Schaan municipal council for the Fatherland Union. From 1993 to 2001 he was a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament for his party . First elected in February 1993, he was re- elected in October of the same year and in 1997 . As a member of the state parliament, he was chairman of the business audit commission and a member of the finance commission and the state committee. From 2005 to 2008 he was chairman of the Party Council of the Patriotic Union.

Heeb is married and has two sons. From 1974 to 1982 he was president of the Galina Schaan volleyball club . In this club he was also active as a player. In 1998 he became an honorary member of the Liechtenstein Volleyball Association (LVBV).
