Carl Klose
Carl Otto Klose (born December 5, 1891 in Cochecton , † January 15, 1988 in Toms River ) was an American rower .
Carl Klose began rowing at the Pennsylvania Barge Club in 1916 , but was drafted into the military after a very short time and served in the medical service during the First World War . He did not start rowing again until three months before the start of the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . Together with Kenneth Myers , Franz Federschmidt , Erich Federschmidt and Sherman Clark as helmsman, he won the bronze medal in the four behind the team from Switzerland.
