Carl Lahusen (diplomat)
Carl Lahusen (born February 6, 1922 in Bremen ) is a former German diplomat .
Life
Lahusen is the son of Georg Carl Lahusen . Lahusen completed his Abitur in 1939 at the Arndt-Gymnasium Dahlem in Berlin . During the Second World War , Lahusen was an employee of the " Abwehr ". From 1969 Lahusen was counselor in Washington , 1975 he was at the embassy in Paris and 1980 ambassador in Dublin . In 1986, Lahusen was replaced by Immo Stabreit as ambassador to Pretoria and retired.
