Carl Lossow
Carl Lossow (born August 6, 1835 in Munich , † March 12, 1861 in Rome ) was a German history painter .
Lossow was the son of the sculptor Arnold Hermann Lossow . His two younger brothers were the animal painter Friedrich Lossow and the genre painter Heinrich Lossow .
Lossow received his first artistic lessons from his father.
The history painter Carl Lossow died on March 12, 1861 in Rome at the age of 25.
