Carl Lucke
Carl Lucke (born October 13, 1840 in Danzig ; † 1914 ) was a tenant farmer and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Lucke attended grammar school in Danzig from 1850 to 1858. In 1870 and 1871 he was the Prussian administrator of the Royal Domain Lawken in the district of Lötzen , since then he was a tenant in East Prussia until 1878 and in Patershausen in the Grand Duchy of Hesse from 1879 . From 1884 to 1885 he was State Commissioner for the surveys on the agricultural situation in the Grand Duchy of Hesse. He published the following writings: The justified demands of German agriculture and The German settlements in West Prussia and Posen . In 1888 he was a member of the commission appointed by the Reich Chancellor in the Reich Health Office for the purpose of introducing Section 4 of the Spirits Tax Act of June 24, 1887.
From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Baden 13 ( Bretten , Sinsheim ) and the Federation of Farmers .
