Carl Ludwig Doerr

Carl Ludwig Doerr (born August 27, 1887 in Wiesbaden , † June 26, 1954 in Cologne- Lindenthal) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader .

Live and act

After attending middle school and high school in Wiesbaden, Doerr was trained at the Idstein building trade school. He then studied business and economics as well as constitutional law at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Cologne . Between 1909 and 1910 he was a member of Goeben's 28th fusilier regiment for a year. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War, in which he fought on the western and eastern front as a company and battalion commander and was wounded three times.

After the war, Doerr worked as a site manager and manager of state and private buildings until he was forced to change jobs due to an injury. He now earned his living as a syndic of trade associations and as director of an AG for mechanical engineering and vehicle construction. He later became General Director of the Cologne City Works.

From November 1933 until the end of Nazi rule in spring 1945, Doerr was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of the constituency 20 (Cologne-Aachen) . In the SA he again achieved at least the rank of standard leader.
