Carl Nerenz

Carl Friedrich Johann Nerenz (born October 9, 1839 in Dresden , † April 3, 1870 in Cairo ) was a German diplomat .

Life

As the son of William Nerenz born Carl Nerenz studied after visiting the Berlin Friedrich-Wilhelms-Gymnasium law in Berlin and Heidelberg . During his studies in 1858 he became a member of the Allemannia Heidelberg fraternity . In 1861 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After exams and legal clerkship , he worked for the Prussian Foreign Ministry. In 1868 he became Vice Consul in Cairo, then Consul General of the North German Confederation .
