Carl Roesch (politician)
Carl Ludwig Roesch (born June 13, 1905 in Nuremberg , † December 23, 1984 in Fellbach ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Life and work
After completing elementary school and attending the humanistic grammar school in Landau in the Palatinate , Roesch completed an apprenticeship in banking. He initially worked in the auditing service and then began studying at the University of Social and Economic Sciences in Nuremberg, which he completed with the examination to become a business graduate as well as with the admission as a business teacher. In addition, he did his doctorate in political science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . Later he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . He was most recently taken prisoner by the Soviets, from which he was released in 1949.
After his return from captivity, Roesch became state manager for Baden-Württemberg in the cooperative insurance sector. He was also a board member of the Association of German Business Masters in Berlin and Chairman of the German Society for Business Administration in Stuttgart .
Political party
Roesch joined the SPD in 1957.
MP
Roesch was a council member of the Fellbach community in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1961 to 1965. In parliament he represented the constituency of Waiblingen .
