Carl Ruschen

Carl Ruschen (born March 6, 1871 in Wickede-Asseln , † March 16, 1931 in Recklinghausen ) was a German industrialist.

Life

Ruschen studied mining in Berlin, Munich and at the Bergakademie Clausthal , became a mountain trainee in 1894 and in 1899 a mountain assessor in the Dortmund District Mining Authority . He later resigned from the civil service and became director in 1901 and general director in 1915 at the Ewald trade union in Herten . In addition, he was a general manager and mine board member of the King Ludwig union in Recklinghausen, member of the pit board of the Langenbrahm union in Essen and representative of the United Trappe union in Silschede . He was a member of the board of the Association for Mining Interests in Essen, the Zechenverband in Essen, the Ruhrknappschaft in Bochum and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Münster. He was a member of the supervisory board of the Aktiengesellschaft Eisenhütte Prinz Rudolph in Dülmen, the Rheinisch-Westfälischen Kohlen-Syndikat in Essen and Ruhrgas AG in Essen.
