Carl Stumpf (Mayor)

Carl Stumpf (* 1862 ; † after 1917) was a German local politician and from 1889 to 1917 mayor of the city of Kaufbeuren .

During his studies he became a member of the AGV Munich in the special houses association in 1880/81 .

On the initiative of Carl Stumpf, the "Association for the Elevation of the Tänzelfest " was founded in 1890 . Only then was the traditional Kaufbeurer children's festival revived. Stump became a councilor .
