Rudolf Krause (politician, 1931)
Rudolf Krause (born February 11, 1931 in Löwenberg , Lower Silesia ) is a former German local politician ( SPD , later Free Voters ).
Career
Krause was born in Lower Silesia. After being expelled from Lower Silesia , he grew up in Ottobeuren . After finishing school, Krause studied law. In the new election of the mayor of Kaufbeuren in 1970, the SPD member prevailed against the CSU's favored candidate , Hans Espermüller. 1974 Krause resigned from the SPD after differences and became one of the co-founders of the Free Voters. As the mayor of Kaufbeur he remained in office for 22 years before resigning on October 31, 1992 three years before the end of the electoral term for health reasons.
Rudolf Krause then worked as a lawyer in Kaufbeuren until 2009.
