Carlene Hightower (born April 22, 1986 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American basketball player .
She played in Drexel Hill, PA for Archbishop Prendergast's basketball team in high school. From there she moved to the college team at La Salle University in Philadelphia. It was mainly used in the position of the guard .
After moving to the German champions TSV 1880 Wasserburg in 2008 , she was successfully used as a winger . Hightower was the top scorer in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga season with 608 points.
In the following season Carlene Hightower continued to play in the 1st women's basketball league at the Herner TC . For the 2010/2011 season she was again committed to the TSV Wasserburg until December 2010. In January 2011, Hightower then moved to the then table leader of the 1st German Bundesliga, BC Marburg . With Marburg, the 1.80 m tall player was able to achieve first place in the Bundesliga round and third place in the German Cup competition. After the season she was no longer signed up by BC Marburg. In November 2014, Hightower came back to Germany, where the first division promoted TuS Bad Aibling brought fireballs into his squad.
