Carlo A. Rossi

Carlo A. Rossi (born 1968 ) is an Italian game designer who primarily focuses on the development of children's and family games. His most famous games include The Mysterious Forest and Alchemist , which have received multiple awards or have been nominated for game awards .

biography

Carlo A. Rossi was born in 1968 and lives in Carpi in northern Italy. There he works as a product manager for a telecommunications company and develops games on the side, concentrating primarily on children's and family games.

Rossi published the first, mostly smaller, games like the simple card game Click! (2003) and The Raven (2005), both of which were published by the Italian publisher dV Giochi. The latter appeared in a mini-game series and consists of only one card, the front of which contains the game board and the back the rules of the game. In 2007, the game Alchemist developed by him was published internationally, it was included in the recommendation list of the jury of the game of the year and was ranked 8th in the "Games for advanced players" at the Japan Boardgame Prize . In 2009 the game Zoowaboo was nominated as children's game of the year . The children's game The Mysterious Forest was also nominated for children's game of the year in 2017 and received the Austrian game award as a “games hit for children”, and it was also nominated for the Graf Ludo game graphic artist award.
