Carlos Ambrosio Lewis Tullock SVD (born November 2, 1918 in La Boca , † November 29, 2004 ) was the Roman Catholic coadjutor bishop of David .

Life

Carlos Ambrosio Lewis Tullock joined the order of the Steyler Missionaries and was ordained a priest on February 24, 1949 .

Paul VI appointed him on June 22, 1965 auxiliary bishop in Panama and titular bishop of Nova Petra . The Archbishop of Panama , Tomás Alberto Clavel Méndez , donated him episcopal ordination on October 3rd of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Leo Clement Andrew Arkfeld SVD, Vicar Apostolic of Wewak , and Joseph Bernard Brunini , Auxiliary Bishop in Natchez-Jackson .

During the Second Vatican Council he took part in the fourth session as a council father. The Pope named him Coadjutor Bishop of David on May 22, 1986 . On April 18, 1994, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
