Carlos De Ávila , full name Carlos Alberto De Ávila , (born December 23, 1954 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .

Career

Defensive player Carlos De Ávila was a member of the first division club Atlético Defensor at the beginning of his career in 1975 . From 1979 to 1982 he played for the Club Atlético Progreso , with whom he rose from the Segunda División in 1979 . In 1983 he was under contract with Deportivo Lara in Venezuela . This was followed in 1984 by an engagement with Portuguesa FC, who also played in the Primera División . In 1986 and 1987 he played as a player at Liverpool Montevideo , which was in the second highest division in Uruguay , with whom he was promoted to the Primera División in 1987 under coach Julio César Antúnez and was on the pitch in the decisive 3-1 win over Racing .
