Carlos Delarios

Carlos F. Delarios is an American sound engineer and sound technician who has been nominated four times for an Oscar for best sound .

Life

Delarios began his career as a sound engineer in the Hollywood film industry in 1980 for the film Supersound und brante Sprüche (Can't Stop The Music), which in 1981 received the first Golden Raspberries for the worst film and the worst script and for several other Golden Raspberries was nominated. In the following decades he worked on the creation of over 120 films.

At the 1984 Academy Awards he was with Michael J. Kohut , Aaron Rochin, and Willie D. Burton for WarGames (1983). Further nominations in this category followed in 1985 with Kohut, Rochin and Gene Cantamessa for 2010: The year we make contact (1984), 1988 with Kohut, Rochin and Robert Wald for RoboCop (1987) and most recently at the 1991 Academy Awards with Nelson Stoll , Kohut and Rochin for Total Recall (1990).

Most recently, he worked as a sound engineer in the film management team in 2008 .
