Carlos Manuel Hernández Santana (born June 17, 1976 ) is a retired Mexican cyclist .

Carlos Hernández celebrated his first success in 2000 on a section of the Vuelta a Cuba . Two years later he was able to win a stage in the Vuelta a la Independencia Nacional and three stages in the Vuelta a Guatemala . He was also the Mexican runner-up in the time trial. In 2003 he was successful on a stage of the Vuelta a las Americas, and in 2004 he was able to win a day section again in the Vuelta a Guatemala. In the 2007 season he finished third at the Pan-American Championships in road racing and on the track in points . He also won a section each at the Vuelta a Chihuahua , the Vuelta a Guatemala and the Doble Copacabana Grand Prix Fides . In 2009 he won a stage of the Vuelta a Chiapas . After this season he ended his cycling career.
