Carlos Jorge Neto Martins (born April 29, 1982 in Oliveira do Hospital ) is a former Portuguese football player .

He played in attacking midfield and came from the youth of Sporting Lisbon .

Career

Carlos Martins was appointed to the squad of the Portuguese national football team in 2006 . In 2008 he moved to Sportings arch-rival Benfica .

For the 2011/12 season he was loaned to Granada CF for a year .
