Carmelo Félix Camet (born October 29, 1904 in Paris , France , † July 22, 2007 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine foil fencer .
Life
Carmelo Camet was an Argentinian champion with the sword at a young age. So he was nominated for the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris , but did not take part because he first wanted to graduate in law . He then took part as a reservist at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam in the foil fencing team competition, where he was also used. He reached the final round with the Argentine team, which also included Roberto Larraz , Luis Lucchetti , Héctor Lucchetti and Raúl Anganuzzi , which was bronze before Belgium and behind Italy and France . He settled in Buenos Aires , where he married and worked as a lawyer.
His father Francisco Camet was the first Argentine fencer to take part in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris.
