Carolin Karnuth

Carolin Karnuth (born March 21, 1984 in Cologne ) is a German actress , singer , songwriter and voice actress .

Life

Karnuth studied from 2004 to 2008 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. She had engagements at Theater Paderborn , Theater der Keller , Theater im Bauturm , Heimathafen Neukölln , Volkstheater Millowitsch , Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord , Theaterschiff Lübeck and at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater Berlin.

In 2017 she released her debut album "Herzchaos". In 2020 she signed a record deal with the German independent label Timezone (music label) . In 2016 she played the desperate bride Wanda in the comedy Tussipark am Theaterschiff Lübeck. In 2017/18 she appeared in the role of Christian partner Daja in Nathan der Weise at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord . In 2019 she appeared again at the Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord, this time as the modern-religious Muslim Mahwish in the drama The Who & The What by Ayad Akhtar .

Karnuth also worked in film and TV productions. In the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2018), Karnuth played the cheerful and naive Andrea Klausen , wife of the suspected port crane operator Heiner Klausen . In the satirical online show Bohemian Browser Ballet , Karnuth took on the main episode role of the assertive youth welfare officer Mareike Bischof .
