The Carr Crest is a 1200 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises at the northern end of the Churchill Mountains 12 km east-southeast of Roberts Pike on the east side of Couzens Bay on the Shackleton Coast .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after the New Zealander Roderick Carr (1891-1971), participant in the Quest expedition (1921-1922) under the direction of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton and his successor Frank Wild .
