Carsten Kadach

Carsten Kadach (born January 22, 1964 ) is a former German football referee .

Career

Kadach has been whistling football games for VfL Suderburg in the Lower Saxony district of Lüneburg (Uelzen district) since 1983 . In 1988 he was promoted to the association league, in 1992 in the regional league (up to 1994 Oberliga) and from 1996 to 1998 Kadach whistled 18 games in the second division . In 2000 he refrained from further appearances as a referee and voluntarily gave up his place in the regional league and worked exclusively as an assistant referee until his age-related retirement in 2011 . As a referee, he has been a member of the senior league referee again and has been a FIFA assistant referee from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2009 . Carsten Kadach's career highlights include the 2008 European Football Championship , the 2007 UEFA Champions League final (AC Milan - Liverpool 2-1), the 2006 UEFA Cup final (Middlesbrough FC - Sevilla FC 0: 4) as assistant to Herbert Fandel as well as the DFB Cup final 2005 (FC Schalke 04 - Bayern Munich 1: 2), which was under the direction of Florian Meyer and an assignment as assistant at the Confederations Cup 2005 at the preliminary round meeting between Greece and Japan (0 :1).

With 194 appearances as assistant referee in the Bundesliga, he ended his referee career as a record holder on May 14, 2011.
