Rondeshagen was first mentioned in 1373 as "Rouchelstorp". In 1394 Eghard Parkentin sold the "Rodingeshagen" estate to Duke Erich III. from Sachsen-Lauenburg . Soon afterwards the estate and village of Rondeshagen came into the possession of various Lübeck councilor and patrician families such as B. Segebodo Crispin, Nicolaus Carbow and Gottschalck von Wickede and the Lübeck Mayor Christoph Tode . The von Tode family owned Rondeshagen until 1788. In 1747, Rondeshagen was reintegrated into the Duchy of Lauenburg as part of the Möllner Pertinenzien . The manorial time ended in 1928. From 1889 to 1948 the community belonged to the Bliestorf district, and from 1948 to the Berkenthin district.
